I plus size djevojke mogu!

I plus size djevojke mogu, zaista

Weird flex but okay, I built this fire myself 💪🏻 1 like = 1 respec ❤️ 🤪 and to think, some jerk commented on my photo yesterday asking if I was funny because “most pretty girls aren’t” 🙄Miss me with that misogynistic bullshit. Pretty girls can be funny, and they can build fires too. Fuck around and get BLOCKT.

I realized this week, while looking through an old hard drive, just how many images of myself I never shared. Because my eyes were too squinty when I laughed. Or because my body was ‘too noticeable’. For so long, I have lived in a ‘when I’m better’ mentality. It's kept me from really living. . . . They're photos that now, after working towards body positivity, I sometimes can’t even remember what I hated about them. I was happy. I was in love with the world around me. I was doing things I adored with people I adored even more. But those things were easy to forget when I returned home and had to look at myself on the computer screen. . . . I’m going to make an effort to share those photos in the coming days. The ones that, for better or worse, show the real me. 💃🏻

Everything that terrifies you these monsters that keeps you up at night that torment you that make you feel small breakable unable to breathe like you should not exist at all, you defeat them everyday just by being alive, this on its own proves that you are enough, and you already have everything you need to survive. || @nikita_gill . Writing about fatphobia and body liberation is scary. Mostly, because of the intense pushback I have received. Apparently, it’s radical to say that fat bodies deserve respect, appreciation and representation. But it shouldn’t be. My humanity deserves dignity. I have the right to shout this from the caves I hike in: Diet culture is toxic and harmful and oppressive to me and many many other people. Weight loss is fine but shouting it, praising it or seeking validation for it in this community is not. This community is a safer place FREE from diet culture, a system of oppression which seeks to harm me. There are plenty of places to receive validation or congratulations on weight loss or to participate in diet culture, I’m here to offer a different type of space. A place we can see ourselves as whole, capable people that are worthy just as we are! If my thoughts and comments on diet culture don’t sit well with you, please take some time to consider WHY. It’s fine to disagree, it’s fine if you want to participate in diet culture. BUT this is not the place for that. I seek to keep building a safer community based on kindness and radical acceptance for marginalized people OUTSIDE of diet culture. Are you with me? . 📍Indigenous Lands of the Kalapuya and Molalla People. . I first met Celeste at the Fat Girls Hiking pop-up in Los Angeles last May. Then, she ventured out to Oregon for the first FGH camping trip on the coast in June. Her sweet soul, kind manner & brave heart are apparent to anyone who meets her. Celeste wrote an article for @diaandco recently about her goal to hike in every state & the process it took to get her there. And, now, her goal to hike Mount Kilimanjaro on International Women’s Day with @curvykilicrew is incredibly inspiring! (Article link in stories & on Celeste’s page.) . “Hiking makes me feel so invigorated and alive. I get a rush of adrenaline and have to do real-time problem solving. Hiking has taught me to get in tune with my body for the first time in my life. It’s taught me how to feel exhausted and recognize exhaustion. Before that, every time I felt tired I assumed it was because I’m a fat person and fat people are always tired. That wasn’t the case—what I was feeling was depression. Now, my body is always impressing me by accomplishing more than I think it’s capable of. My body does amazing things. It hikes a lot! These accomplishments give me so much confidence.” || @fatgirlforthefitsoul / Celeste .
