Časopis Able iskreno i otvoreno progovara o osobama s invaliditetom s ciljem uništavanja stereotipa

We chose this image as our back cover because of Rafi’s signature scar and the story it holds inside, both physically and metaphorically. Rafi is a model and a part of Team GB’s Racerunning Paralympic squad 🌟 More images coming soon, as well as a link to buy! 💙 . . . . . . #AbleZine #MagazineLaunch #BackCover #Magazine #Publication #DisabilityPublication #DisabledModel #Scar #LoveYourScars #BehindTheScars #Zebedee #ZebedeeManagement #RafiSolaiman #ChristianCassiel #FilmPhotography #Editorial

“When i first shared photos of my injuries after the fire i had so disassociated from my body and had been on view for so many strangers (ie, doctors n nurses) that it never really felt personal – just informative. […] I think about the fact that when this happened to me and my surgeon was telling me the procedure i was so unaware – had never seen a skin graft before. i'm not a person who posts a lot of ~body shots~ but i do feel like visibility helps understanding and being open about this has only ever been met with love n support, so thank you. this is what my body looks like now! i am accepting it because..i don't really have a choice!! also taught me to be patient with slow strangers – you never know what they got goin on under their clothes” . . . . . . .
