Dominique Ansel još jednom je nadmašio sam sebe novom kolekcijom slastica

Povodom 15. godišnjice otvorenja njegove prve slastičarnice u New Yorku, poznati chef Dominique Ansel predstavio je kolekciju slastica inspiriranu tim živopisnim gradom. Ansel je inače najpoznatiji po svom izumu cronuta odnosno hibrida krafne i kroasana, no svakom novom slasticom iznenadi struku i svoje kupce.

Njegova New York Collection tako donosi deserte u obliku najpoznatijih gastro simbola New Yorka. Tu je hot dog koji je zapravo pištoka s kremom od borovnice i ‘senfom’ od marakuje, zatim pita od jabuke u obliku prerezane jabuke, bagel s namazom koji je zapravo pavlova s kremom s cheescake punjenjem, šalica s kavom za van koja je zapravo jestivi tiramisu i još niz deserata u obliku pizze, žira ili pereca sa senfom.

Getting ready for our New York Collection, launching in Soho in July 4th through Labor Day, when we turn our pastry case into a tribute to NYC. Here’s a little preview – of our Haute Dog (with raspberry cream, ladyfinger “buns,” and passion fruit “mustard”), A Bite of the Big Apple (with apple compote, fresh Gala apples, vanilla ganache, and vanilla sablé), and A Stroll in Central Park chocolate hazelnut acorn (with blackberry jam and crispy hazelnut feuilletine). ** To celebrate, I’ll be hosting a picnic potluck at a secret location in Manhattan on Friday, July 12th from 3-4:30pm.
